Support Local Art!
It
a priority for me to promote the arts culture and support other local
artist friends and patrons in the Northern Neck area of Virginia. I am
honored to be the 2011 Executive Board Secretary and a Founding Member
of the Tappahannock Artists' Guild.
Local
artists and artisans work hard at their craft and offer the best of the
areas in which they live. Purchasing art work from local artists builds
a sense of community, shares our common traditions and lifestyles, and
frankly, gives the patron access to beautiful original works vs.
mass-produced prints and trinkets from chain stores.
