Funny how on such a gloomy day,
I'd notice how the sunlight reflected on the
barbed wire nailed to the weathered post.
I hate winter. Really. Driving home from Tappahannock, VA one day I was mumbling to myself, 'there has to be SOMETHING good about winter'. Around the first bend of Occupacia Road is this farm; the long fence of harsh barbed wire was decorated with 5' high weeds and all in seed. It was so beautiful the way the sunlight shone through the tall feathery plants...
it was if God was saying, "Here's something good".
